Oak Grove Cemetery

 If you need to purchase grave spaces or have any questions regarding the City’s cemeteries, you may contact staff at Sunset Memorial Office - 936-560-5314. 

The office at Sunset Memorial Cemetery is staffed and open Monday through Friday from 10am - 2pm. If you need help outside of those hours, it is best to call first and ensure someone is available to assist you. 

The City of Nacogdoches maintains five cemeteries that provide beautiful settings as a final resting-place for citizens whose loved ones pass on:

Sunset Cemetery

The city's largest cemetery at 48 acres est. 1946

Oak Grove Cemetery

200 N. Lanana Street
The first marked grave is dated 1837. 12.7 acres. Historic Oak Grove Cemetery is one of the most famous cemeteries in Texas. It is marked as the final resting place of many legendary Texans as well as four signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence.
